That's what the HC stands for... Hard Coded.

The Hardcoded subs was the only thing that gives it a bit of the 'screener' feeling. But not comporable with the screeners 5 years ago (remember the color to 6 min. black & white scenes crap). A lot of screeners with hardcoded korean/jap are- pure if we look at the picture quality as a whole- perfect watchable.

And I always make sure an subtitle in other language has exact the right size in which it can dominate the hardcoded. Just stick it up front and hide the HC beneath. I forgot about it after 3 minutes and had a near-cinema experience from my livingroom. Movie was great.

To give you an idea of the quality... I uploaded a tiny 2 minute part of the end scpre). Youtube removed the video cut between 30 sec, so... I made it possible after all thnx to archive.org. Check it out before its gone <3
