This. AVP wasn't bad. It wasn't the peak of the Alien or Predator franchises, but it wasn't as bad as some people make it. A handful of tweaks would have made it a properly good film, it was almost there. AVP:R was genuinely terrible. It's good for some Xeno/Yautja porn if you just want to see the characters wrecking shit and each other, but the storyline was horrible. Predators was genuinely brilliant and I can't wait for what's coming soon in the Predator franchise since it got greenlit, and wish the Alien franchise could get something on par with how well done Predators was.
