6/10 the sound isnt great an all, but you can clearly hear everything, its just a tad low, the audiance isnt that bad at all, but you miss a few points where you need subtitles, they are all in spanish, so if you know spanish youre good to go, if not youll just miss out on a few lines where its obvious whats being said and such

Serious question: Is this movie worth paying to see in a theater?
Honestly; yes. It felt more like an experience with the audience very much invested in the story. I'm from the UK and clapping at the end of a film is a rare event but it happened. I saw it on an IMAX 3D screen and the 3D is completely pointless, but seeing it on the IMAX screen itself was completely worth it.
If you're not a Star Wars fan this is unlikely to convert you, but if you remotely enjoy them this is worth a watch. It's not a perfect film, but it's very good.
If downloading this is your first time watching then you're doing the film a bit of a disservice.
I saw it in 3D in a theater in Japan. Dead silence from minute one until the end. I envy you!
Was that just generally the attitude to cinema there, or were people not impressed?
At twists and revelations in the story there were audible gasps and cheers. I can only think of one other screening like that in my life, and that was the Doctor Who 50th special.

That might be cultural. When Pride FC was the big MMA brand in Japan, they would regularly fill enormous stadiums with fans who would stay nearly silent throughout the events. Quite the stark contrast to western sporting events where you are basically expected to flip out and cheer wildly.

Here in the philippines you'll know which were the star wars fans or not.. you get to see fans waving and flashing their lightsabers inside the theater both old and young fans and everyone was in tears when that one scene happened...

If you like Star Wars: Yes. If you've never seen the other movies: Stay at home & watch Episode 4-6.

One of the few I will probably pay to see more than once. I would really recommend watching the cam version unless you've already seen it.
Movie cost over 500 million, worth seeing for the spectacle alone.

hmm, that's not normally my rationale. I remember the cost of Avatar...
English subtitles: http://tvsubs.org/53613/download/star-wars-the-force-awakens.html
Unfortunately they don't really match what is said in the movie, typical first draft.

Did you upload the wrong version? This isn't HD.
Edit: Don't downvote because of opinion. Read the reddiquette, or leave.
You don't know what you're talking about.

"HD" my ass, it's as HD as the YIFY rips that get spammed all over this sub.
[-] slitheredxscars | 20 points
It's just recorded on an HD cam. Not that the video itself is of HQ.
