Well /r/megarequests (599 subs) isn't nearly as active as /r/megalinks (8,405 subs).

but half of the requests on here can be solved by using the search bar. people request a new full series everyday. it wouldnt be so bad if the front page wasnt filled with [request]

Plus if you look at /r/megarequests, basically none of those actually get responses. A fair amount of the requests in this sub get people providing the requested links.

I really think just this whole sub doesn't fit with reddit's format particularly well and would instead be better off in the format of traditional internet message boards.
