Go to Download.com and look to the list of top downloads. Avast and AVG should be there, and both are good and free. AVG offered a free one-year deal for their Internet Security here, but I don't know if the offer is still good.

Someone posted links to the ISOs of Microsoft Office in this forum awhile ago. I think only the last link is still working, and I don't know if the software works or not since I haven't downloaded them myself.
