Really looking forward to trying these mods.

I have the original version and I always have driver issues on my current computer. I'm hoping this GoG version works a little better (I hear they make older games more compatible with current hardware??)

I can't comment on the GoG version, but I shouldn't imagine there'd be any driver issues. IIRC the only thing that did cause a few issues was the video codec they used for the FMVs, but that's since been sorted out with the latest patch.

I played through the Steam version on my Mac recently and didn't have any issues.
