For the moment no. But it works on OSX with Parallels. It is developed in .NET but with some components that prevents it running in Mono :(

It depends on the server where the file is hosted. Sometimes it is saturated or whatever and doesn't work well because the server can't maintain the necessary bandwith. But normally it works perfectly. With a similar connection I have been able to watch a 12GB mkv video!
