Lots of bad files on this site.

"The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey Soundtrack.rar" supposed to be 303.5MB, links to a 4.3MB .rar with a .SCR file inside of it.

Sounds legit.

It looks like they are using a bot to find and add links. Might explain why they have a lot of duplicate and mischievous links on it.

Your website is a lot more readable than this sub. Maybe you could develop the 'report' tool a little further (btw I clicked on it by mistake) to improve the quality of links posted.

This is another thing I need to flesh out more. I'll probably add some simple options to report so it becomes more useful.

I hope to have the site such that the user will never need to report a link by having the server and mods checking the links! But this will take some more time :)

That's on our list of things to do, and we should have that up within a day or 2, as well as a few other features including categorical searching.

Edit: | Megalinks MegaDB Edit: You can now click on the Category header to sort your search results by category! We'll most likely also add a dropdown you can use at the time of search as well.

They just added a search engine to the site, I would go check that out and see if you can give something that it doesn't

That site is getting quite flooded with 'garbage' links. Lots of them are broken and some of them are viruses. This is one thing I am going to address on my site by checking if the links are still alive, getting more mods on the site to check dangerous links and other things!

Hopefully, notmega can provide 'safe' links in a simply clean layout. Well thats what I want it to do :)

Maybe even have some sort of simple comment system so that people can tell you about the files before (for example, if a mod hasn't been able to review/remove yet).

Slightly off topic, why does it force me to download Chrome half the time? I am happy with Waterfox thanks.
