try in a different browser. Chrome was barfing on me but it worked in FF.

I have been waiting for the activation mail for more than a day now. Not the most successful launch, but not the worst either.

Same here. i'm going to probably wait a week (or at least until this weekend) before trying again. So many people signed up so quickly that their servers are overloaded. Also there is a great big 'beta' sign on the website, so many bugs are expected. I just read they had to fix a security bug soon after release.
