I'm glad to be able to see this. My mother was in a total panic over the east area rapist as she was a single, attractive, widow and bought a house right in his crime spreed zone all of a few months before it all started. Neighbors start getting home alarms installed and my mom buys a gun. I'm too young to understand any of this I just know "Yaaa I get my first dog!!", no clue it's was to help watch the home.
I still live just a few miles from the American river bike trail the Golden State killer (as he is now called) used to move around. Even one of my instructors at the local college was a retired police officer who had been on the task force looking for the rapist back in the day. So watching this will be a little, strange. Most true crime stories tend have a feeling of distance, but not this one.
