Yes and no. It's supposed to be the limit, but MegaDownloader still bypasses the limit for some people and some people just have an unlimited transfer quota for some reason.

I checked on the mega profile page and instead of the 5 gb limit, it now says it's 5gb, but a soft cap depending on other traffic on their network.
I've had it stop at 5gb, and stop at 77gb.
No idea if there's anyway to figure out a "good time" to download. Seems random.

Comes out on Netflix in most countries on March 12, so likely then or shortly after.
However, and I know this makes me that guy, if you're willing and able to see it in a theater I highly recommend. I don't think that particular experience can be replicated.

Question- I have a 400gb file I want to upload was thinking of rar'ing it to 80 separate 5gb parts- any advice?
Does mega allow you to host that much? I get 10mb down/1 meg up so roughly how long?
To be fair is it likely anyone will download it to make it worth the effort?

Paid account, yes. I'm at the second tier, so have 1 tb of storage though not so much for free. I guess it all depends on how much work you want to do to get it hosted.
Also, mentioning what series it is will go a long way to get you some answers if people will want it (it's always yes, BTW).
As for the upload, I suggest going 1 season at a time to start. At that speed you'll probably be a few days per season if it's as big as you say (not sure what file sizes per ep you're looking at).

I've basically got all 16 seasons of bleach (366 episodes) and the 4 films backed up from the dvds.
I could rar each season and upload it one at a time but I thought people would appreciate all being available in one post/at once etc.
I would be using a free tier mega if I did it. I've currently backed up first 8 seasons and we are at 190gb already.
I'm hoping to do another seven by tomorrow night then the films then if there is enough interest I'll start to rar them and upload them around Friday onwards

the app is good tho. you get bonus quota and space( at least on win 7 w/ the megasync app) and mega says that speeds are usually higher when using the app.

I have these 2, I prefer the resolution and sharpness of the left and the less orange sand scenes, but on the right I much prefer the white levels being higher than on the left.
If there is a version with a superior white balance and less orange sand scenes at 2k, that'd be perfect.

The color enhancement is very bad in VLC. And also, it glitches very often in my laptop. And films and TV pauses for a fraction of second while playing whereas in VLC, you get the whole glitch screen. And VLC's sound amplification is proven to be VERY bad for your speakers. While films and TV had more sound than 100% VLC sound, it doesn't spoil your speaker

Would it be beneficial to ask people who fill requests in the thread to add some sort of 'tag' to their posts? That way when the thread gets 600+ comments, you can simply crtl+f and search the tag to find all requests that have been filled. Verses scrolling thru?
Maybe like "[Filled] .nz/i3490ergj98j34gi" (as an example).
Then I could just search the page for [filled], to find links?!
Just a suggestion/thought! (Not trying to be super lazy, just more efficient in a sense!)

I guess there is no way to add a 'tag' per se. But maybe just type at the beginning or end of a comment [Filled]?! (I don't think you can add some sort of flair sadly).
Some people paste a basecode code and some flat out past the exact URL. But it could be productive to add that [Filled] text in the comment so people could just crtl+f. (Or try filled.nz/#!sin934#$dfig#sdifj)
Unless there is a mods tool that adds a tag to comments?!

i kinda want the opposite. i want people who request shit to tag their posts. i like to fill ebooks requests and its hard to scroll though all of them to find one.

Can u search ctrl+f [books]? I feel most people label books (more so than movies). Because they are smaller requests I see most labeling their posts with (ebooks or audiobooks).
