Aria The Animation is [a slice of life](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aria_(manga)#Development) with a sci-fi/fantasy twist television series that ran for 13 episodes in 2005. It was followed by two sequel seasons, each with slightly different titles (Aria The Natural and Aria The Origination.)
The series is set in the 24th century on a terraformed Mars, now named Aqua, and follows a young woman named Akari Mizunashi as she trains as an apprentice gondolier (known as Undines). The series has been praised for its calm pacing, optimistic worldview, beautiful art, and, for the anime, the quality of the soundtrack.
What drew me to the show was Mina Kubota's name appearing on the list of contributing composers. The soundtrack as a whole is a gentle mix of acoustic guitar (mandolin?), piano and strings that is often soothingly mellow and sometimes moody and sometimes spirited. If you have no interest in anime you may at least find something very appealing in its score.
The music files are the soundtrack album and opening and closing singles. They are all 320kb/s rips and altogether are 238MB.
