Is there anyway to tell if the audio for a movie file will be 'normal' vs me having to turn my TV volume up to 70-90 out of 100? Some movies are normal audio like 25-35 units, but others require me to almost max out my TV and idk how to tell.

it could be related to the number of audio channels. let's say your file has 6 audio channels and your tv has 2 (stereo), the audio decoder has to decide what to do. does it ignore 4 of them? then the volume will be lower. does it downmix the 6 channels to 2? then the volume depends on the settings. if you're lucky you can modify those settings, if you're unlucky they might be hardcoded.

This is probably what it is. Because I noticed it while watching
So I'm assuming it's the 6-2 audio channel ordeal. Hmm
It may also be that the encoder applied some compression. I've done this for my own rips for mobile because dialogue in many movies can be very hard to hear in public spaces (while wearing headphones, thank you. :p) The encoder may see a bit of compression as making their rip a bit easier to watch, especially if it's a smaller size and more likely to be watch on a mobile device.

Yeah it's only a very very small amount of videos that I've noticed it on. That certainly could be it (encoding)! No real way to tell, but like I said, it's only a small amount that it happens
The higher the bitrate & quality,of the audio, the louder they are generally.Smaller file = small audio.The bigger the movie file the better the audio.

Hi, I'm kinda new to Mega. I prefer torrent services mostly (sorry if it's frowned upon here), but as most of the torrents are blocked either by my country or my ISP, I hope mega helps me.
So I've got the M and K stuff sorted out. I go to mega.nz , the download starts in chrome on the website GUI, after a while, it says my DL quota has been exceeded. So my 1st question is
Also, after reading some posts, I think mega first saves the file on their cloud and then I have to DL again via the browser. So
After reading all that, I had a kneejerk reaction and cancelled all downloads and shut the laptop!

If you leave your browser open for whatever time time the bandwidth exceeded box says your download should resume again(most of the time anyway)

Yes it said 4hrs. Four-fucking-hours.
It can be 6-7 hours,so that isn't so bad.Or you can pay 5 euro a month to get rid of the problem.Or try using megadownloader.

It might have been 6-7 hours because I was afk for a long time. My ETD when I got back was 29mins. Didn't make sense to wait for 4hrs.

Is there any benefit to Megadownloader that you can't get with jdownloader 2?
I can get down 30-50g at a time with megadownloader without band width issues.I does not seem to be the same for every one but it works well for me,so I use megadownloader for megalinks & jdownloader for everything else.Getting around the download limit on mega is the only reason to use megadownloader.
Do I need to have a paid account to download a ~8GB file?
To get around the cap you have to change your ip, which means either using a vpn or, if you're outside the US and using PppoE DSL, resetting your modem.
Do I have to spend two times the bandwidth speed?
When Mega moves the files on their storage that is something that happens inside their servers. Your bandwidth isn't involved until you start downloading to your pc.
Will I be able to recover downloaded data?
If you are using MegaSync, yes. It behaves like a download manager and can start and resume downloads from Mega. You can pause a download, shut off your computer and then restart it the next day and continue the download where it left off.

Can someone help me understand how to use jdownloader for mac? I tried to add a megalink but it didn't work. Or is there a different way to go about it with macs? I also have a vpn that is constantly on.

It's fairly straight forward? Just install and copy the link housing the multiple links and jdownloader will pick it up automatically. Click start downloads.

Just to clarify you are using jdownloader2? Only other thing I can think to blame is the VPN.
If you are using the snahpit link protector you should be copying the url you get after entering the captcha password not the first link in the list of urls.
You can also try manually adding the link in the lower left corner just click “add new links” if it’s still not picking it up automatically.

Hey guys, I have a problem and I hope someone can help me out here.
So, for a couple weeks or so, I have been unable to download files from Mega that are bigger than a certain size (I don't know the exact size, but 18 GB for example is already too big). It says my bandwith limit has been exceeded and sets the timer for me to wait until I can download from Mega again. Once that timer is over (if that's how you say it) he tries to download again and, again, tells me that my bandwith limit has been exceeded. Another timer then starts and the whole process repeats, over and over. Using a VPN doesn't help and downloading via the browser or MegaSync (I normally use JDownloader) doesn't change anything either.
I have no idea why it is like this all of a sudden, but it really frustrates me =/

Try catching the app/website in-between the 5 hour timers while it's downloading and pausing/canceling all downloads. That will stop the timer from going off.

I don't =/ I'm using a Mac and I think when I started downloading from Mega I didn't find a working Mac version.
Would it work in JDownloader as well? If not I could of course try and downloading Mega downloader.

I just started using Jdownloader 2 (awesome program) and have run into a bit of difficulty. I can add links from Mega or Snahp.it no problem, but when I try to add files from nofile.io, all I get are downloads of various sizes of the website icon/logo.
For example:
Trying to download the Minions movie. When I add the url in this picture with the 'megalinks' password all I get is this. What am I doing wrong??

Quick question, Should I rar content that is larger than 5 GB or does nobody care about that.
I personally don't think people care too much about it, since you can resume your download either way from where it stopped. But if it helps increase your upload speed to MEGA (multiple parts = more speed) then sure, go for it :)

Its been the same for a while now. Happens with posts too in general -- as soon as you post something, more often than not you'll be at 0 karma because a bot downvotes it. I'm open to suggestions, but not entirely sure what can be done.
