not too shabby. i've just heard these rips get terribly compressed. i like the grain in this one.

Some do, but Tigole encodes tend to be pretty good at preserving the original look of the blu-ray as much as possible.

I think x265 (especially 10bit) gets that reputation because of the filesizes people see, but I've had it myself where one movie converts to 9 GB and another to less than 2 GB with the same settings in handbrake. The quality remains constant - it's all a matter of how efficiently the codec can deal with the information being thrown at it.
