VLC Player hates 7.1 audio, try a different media player.

I had several like this I actually replaced the audio tracks with versions from other downloads. Some of these Tigole rips seem to have audio issues. Have you tried MediaPlayerClassic?

Try on MPC-HC if you're having any troubles.
