not trying to cramp OP's style, but comics happen to be one of those things that don't get monitored by the copyright trolls.

Quite a few sites out there with tons of collections. There's also a really awesome ddl site with mega links and dl links from their own server that's super fast.

That being said, as a person with 3tb's of comics, I try to download the best copies.

Not all comics that are digital are labeled so, and comics from 2013 onward will all be good quality, try to search for comics that have digital in the title.

There's actually one source on the internet for comics that is 100 percent free and better than any paid service you can find, has every comic in existence at 5-10mbs download speeds.

PM me if you want more info.

So the best place to find comics online free or paid is DC++. DC++ is a file sharing program that has existed forever. It's also good for movies/tv shows/whatever, just like torrents. It just happens to have the best and most active comic book community on the internet. Same with audiobooks/ebooks btw.

So DC++ is basically a virtual coffee shop. Everyone meets up with shared files, and you download off one another. There are different coffee shops aka hubs for different types of files, in this case comics.

So you want to go to the comic hub called 'perfection'. There are other comic hubs, but this one is by far the best. Now, you can get in there without any comics shared, but it's a good idea to have 5 gigs of comics already shared. You have to share and let other people download off you while you download. For the most part no one will download off of you though, and you can limit your speed to a crawl if you want. Just not too slow or you'll get banned. You can read the rules when you get there. The ops are super strict so follow the rules, they are total dicks, it's nuts.

So when you open DC++ you go to the search function to search for public hubs. Type in perfection. Go there and message a hub operator to get into the hub, as you'll probably be redirected to a waiting room as you're not registered. It can take a lil while, so be patient, go afk, whatever.

If you have trouble getting in, google other comic hubs, or search comics in the hub search and go to the other comic hubs. Message the ops there about helping you get into perfection.

Make sure in the DC++ settings to have it set where you share/hash files after you download them. They are sticklers about this.

Ok so let me list these hub names. When you get into dc++ you click the gold star thing, and type in these hub names. Make sure to type in user name, don't worry about password until you actually register to these hubs.

perfection.no-ip.biz:777 | Megalinks MegaDB perfection.no-ip.biz:777 anthonyvanpyre.kicks-ass.net:777 93.31.234.212:1089 | Megalinks MegaDB 93.31.234.212:1089 Thewatchtower.no-ip.info:1411

That's 4 hubs above, bold is for separation, cause reddit is dumb.

If you can't get into perfection, try the other hubs and message the ops to get into perfection. There are lots of other comic book hubs, but I assure you perfection is the best and the only one you need.

When you share files, DO NOT share porn or NSFW stuff or you will get banned.

If you want audiobooks, the only active audiobook hub right now is called Dawghouse. The address is adcs://securedh.ddns.net:433

http://audiobookbay.nl/ sometimes get's stuff before DC++, same with mobilism and bolt.cd

Anywho, The rest you can learn as you go pretty much. As a back up for comics I use http://mycomicpost.net, http://getcomics.info, http://viewcomic.com, http://readcomiconline.to, https://worldwidetorrents.me/torrents.php?parent_cat=Comics.

Worldwidetorrents happens to be where a prolific comic book uploader uploads all his shit.

If you aren't that serious about downloading, you can read just about everything online from a few of the above sites.

And don't worry about the comic book trolls when using DC++. Copyright trolls do not care about DC++ let alone comics/book/audio books.

To my knowledge no one has ever gotten even a copyright letter from using DC++. And also to my knowledge, no one has ever gotten a copyright letter for downloading a comic book/ebook/audiobook.

Have fun, if I didn't cover everything, just google it and learn as you go.

I'm got on Perfection pretty fast, thanks for the tip. It was good for a few super rare obscure things. But I have to say for all the heavy lifting nothing can beat Soulseek for comics and music anyway.
Megalinks all the way for films.

Edit: Found the Search All function. DC++ rocks. :D | Megalinks MegaDB Edit: Found the Search All function. DC++ rocks. :D

ya dude...nothing beats DC++ for comics....this is just a fact. And I also know this through real world experience. Torrents suck compared to DC++.

Not to mention QUALITY SCANS!!! Sure you can find ghost rider 1970 whatever 1-100 but can you find it in digital? That's one area where DC++ shines.

With new comics, ya you can find those anywhere. When it comes to old quality/digital | Megalinks MegaDB quality/digital scans you can't beat DC++.

I'm not sure how big of a file sharer you are, but when you start collecting 3-5 terabytes of comics like me, quality matters.

[-] Machinalf | 1 points | Jan 29 2018 22:03:41

My jaw dropped when I saw one guy with 80 terabytes. And oh yeah, I belatedly realized there's a search all function, so i don't have to crawl through ppl's folders. Doh

permalink

[-] hulivar | 1 points | Jan 29 2018 22:42:00

lol ya, the search function is what makes DC++. Just search for whatever you need, and bam download it from however many users have it...

And most comics will have at least a 5 people so you can download from them like a torrent pretty fast....then when it comes to the popular stuff, you can download from 20-50 people at super fast speeds.

There might even be awesome hubs for movies, porn, whatever floats your boat but I've never had the reason to find them as you can find everything else on DDL sites or streaming.

Btw the decoding thing and removing -JuNk# is for both the link and the key, I made the mistake the first time of only doing it to the link.

Thank you so much for sharing!

Batman Year One, Watchmen, Hellblazer (where John Constantine is from), Berserk and Full Metal Alchemist (for Manga) are great for fiction.

From Hell, Persepolis, Maus, and March are all good non-fiction.

The manga is almost always on hiatus these days but yes, Berserk is absolutely fantastic and definitely my favorite long running series. I did feel it was losing steam for a bit until Miura brought it back to the Griffith saga. Everyone who reads Berserk wants to see that story and it was on hold for so long...
