Hi, I'm friends with UTR, glad you're enjoying their encodes. They would have liked to see a link to their site though... If you're interested in following their encodes or discussing previous releases, possibly even getting some stuff reseeded, join them on their forums here: https://uniteam.co/.

Can you ELI5 what this is exactly?

permalink

[-] yokesh_kdk | 16 points | Sep 04 2017 09:07:10

A Hash is a 40 char unique value for torrents. Each torrent will have the hash value. You can use it to generate magnet links. Some torrents might have removed from search engines and no longer appear when you search. But if you have the .torrent file or hash value you can download it, provided it has seeds.

[-] MathTheUsername | 7 points | Sep 04 2017 09:15:47

ELI4? lol

Why would anyone want this, in a practical sense?

Ok, so I see the lists of content, and can add them to qbittorrent. Is there a benefit to doing this instead of searching TPB?

A Quick search for Joy x265 in TPB results for only 339 torrents. But for a fact we know there are at least 2000 torrents by her. If it is not indexed in your fav site doesn't mean that torrent does not exist. It might be somewhere indexed in a far way less popular site.

For ex, let's say, Some Movie 2015 (1080p x265 10bit Joy) is no where to be found. If you have the hash value you can add it to the torrents and download it

is there a way to get their new releases? im getting rss feeds from limetorrents (hasnt worked recently) zooqle (incomplete) and kickass .cr (website doesnt have rss)

is there any better places i can get UTR releases via RSS?

permalink

[-] HA5HBANG | 3 points | Sep 04 2017 15:25:22

+1

I'm always on the lookout for RSS feeds for quality content. Please post if you find something!

edit: found a way using skytorrents search: https://www.skytorrents.in/rss/all/ad/1/[UTR]

idk how quickly this is updated though. Will have to monitor this for a bit to see how good it is.

[-] Fortune_Cat | 2 points | Sep 05 2017 05:22:09

Sky torrents isn't up to date quickly...I THINK. For now torrent project and zooqle combined do the job. I'm only after quality h265 releases anyway. Anything else zooqle does the job

Is there a good way to convert multiple hashes into magnets? Rather than copy/paste? I'm looking to replace a lot of my x264 library. Thanks for all the links.

I must be extra stupid then because this makes no sense at all to me, maybe you could explain what the hell this is and how to use it?

permalink

[-] Axelstrife | 2 points | Sep 04 2017 14:45:36

magnet:?xt=urn:btih:

Paste this in a separate tab then go and copy the hash (long weird number/letter combination) from whatever you are after and paste on the tab you pasted the link above then click enter.

[-] throwawayadalkesfkl | 1 points | Sep 04 2017 09:14:56

wasn't apekat part of UTR too?

permalink

[-] Aj-Mega | 1 points | Sep 04 2017 09:55:53

yes, and soulfirez. Y2J,MaDkat,Aup and a bunch more who have retired arent on this list. This list is from IMEverlasting, who made it for the new katcr website users, and utr website.

permalink

[-] TheDDGo | 3 points | Sep 04 2017 13:17:00

The last statement about being it from a fan is not correct. The list was made by ImEverlasting by gathering the torrents from other releasers in this group.

[-] Aj-Mega | 1 points | Sep 04 2017 13:41:27

Indeed, your right. I fixed my statement above.

If you could, after the seperate hashes, could you add another categorize of all the hashes so I could ctrl + f?

[-] yokesh_kdk | 1 points | Sep 04 2017 14:32:47

Go into some more detail.

[-] MrTattyBojangles | 1 points | Sep 04 2017 15:06:44

You can already use Ctrl + F to find what you're looking for.
