[GAME] 3DS decrypted ROM mega collection for use with Citra: Part 2 (P): Pokemon X,Y, Sun, Moon, Alpha Sapphire, Omega Ruby, and two Mystery Dungeon games plus two non-Pokemon games. [8.30 GB] | Megalinks MegaDB [GAME] 3DS decrypted ROM mega collection for use with Citra: Part 2 (P): Pokemon X,Y, Sun, Moon, Alpha Sapphire, Omega Ruby, and two Mystery Dungeon games plus two non-Pokemon games. [8.30 GB]

EDIT: I've noticed a lot of people having language issues with some of these games. I don't know what to tell you. With the exception of Sun and Moon, I dumped these games myself. I went to a video rental store (those still exist) that rented 3DS games IN AMERICA, rented them for one day, and dumped them with my AMERICAN-region 3DS. Any issues are probably Citra's fault.

Snaph.it Link: http://links.snahp.it/796hanafuda2

I've encoded the password into base64. Decode this to get the password:

Y2F0Y2h0aGVtYWxs

Also, the link is displayed as "https://xxx.nz/#blahblah". You'll have to replace "xxxx" with "mega".

This is the second set of decrypted 3DS roms for use with the 3DS emulator Citra.

Included games are:

Paper Mario Sticker Star

Pilot Wings Resort

Pokemon Alpha Sapphire

Pokemon Moon

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - Gates to Infinity

Pokemon Omega Ruby

Pokemon Sun

Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon

Pokemon X

Pokemon Y

Please see my previous 3DS rom release to find the nand and sysdata files for Citra. They are needed to get some of these games running (see Citra's compatibility list for more details).

~~I haven't tested all of these games like the previous release yet. I'm testing them right now. If a game doesn't work, I'll either say "blame Citra" or remove it from the folder.~~ EDIT: Testing done! They all make it to the title screen!

Another batch will be coming tomorrow! Look forward to it!

I would like to point out to anyone who may listen that 3DS hacking SUCKS BALLS!

I've hacked PSP, an original XBOX, a Wii, a 2DS, and I'll be hacking a Wii U this weekend, and the 2DS was the least enjoyable of them all. I also would be hacking a PS2 in a week or so if I had won an eBay auction, and I would have modchipped a PS1 if the thing's disc drive actually spun up properly.

PSP: Get a memory card adapter. Drag, Drop, run, BOOM. You're hacked. Enjoy. Have fun.

Wii: Letterbomb, Hombrew Channel. Done.

Xbox: Splinter Cell. Controller to USB cable. USB stick. Buy them on ebay. One guy was nice enough to put the necessary files on the USB. Copy saves to HDD. Load Saves in Splinter Cell. Backup Eeprom. EvolveX or UnleashX? Obviously UnleashX. Install. Done.

3DS: You need a friggin' flowchart (NOTE: This flowchart is probably outdated. Don't follow it) just to get started. Then it's an endless nightmare of NAND, CFW, and all kinds of other shit.

I've found that certain CIA titles won't decrypt properly. This is because I don't have a seeddb.bin file that works with those titles. GodMode9 isn't working for me, which can generate a seeddb.bin . It turns out that pretty much EVERYTHING installed on my 2DS is out of date. Due to not wanting to brick my 3DS or upload faulty roms, ALL roms originally downloaded in CIA format are being delayed by an unknown amount of time. This includes Fire Emblem Fates and Echoes, New Super Mario Bros 2, Zelda Triforce Heroes, both remakes of N64 Zelda games, Hyrule Warriors, Super Mario Maker, and some eShop titles.

I stopped at the part where it says I need a second system that is already hacked.

Only if you're fully updated. It too my buddy about two hours to find one on eBay that was a good price and running older firmware. He was buying with the intent to hack though, so slightly different than hacking one that's been in use.

How would I get started hacking my system? I've never hacked any console before and I don't wanna brick my 3DS.

I have only ever done a wii and that wasn't too bad given my little experience at the time. But anyway have another thank you for all the time and effort put into this and good luck with the WiiU

hey - thanks for the upload! There's currently a small error, though - "Y2F0Y2h0aGVtYWxs" is actually the xxxx.nz link when decoded, not the password

~~That was intentional.~~ ~~No it wasn't! I'll fix it soon.~~ I don't know what's going on anymore.

oh! ok - thanks for the clarification. (and for taking the time to upload all these good things)

~~No it wasn't! I need to get some sleep! Please edit out the base64 thing in your previous post.~~

Am I crazy? I JUST pasted the base64 currently present in my post into base64, and it's the password.

Thanks! Would any one be able to post Game Boy Advance ROMs? I've seen all kinds of ROM collections here, but I don't recall seeing GBA yet (unless I missed it).

I don't need to.

How well would an A10-5800k + 270 run this? I know emulation is CPU heavy but these are 3DS games so just wondering.

On a side not, if I were to build a future proof PC, which would be the best for emulation?

[-] ajshell1 | 3 points | Jun 16 2017 02:28:52

No idea. I'm running a i5-4690k with a GTX 1070. Dolphin and PCSX2 run like a charm.

Citra is still very much unfinished. Even on my rig, some games have nasty audio stutter and won't run at full speed. Other games work fine. YMMV.

That CPU has a lower passmark score than the 4690k. I don't think it would run as well as my build, but I could be wrong.

I haven't compared CPU performance since I built my rig two years ago. Go to /r/emulation or /r/buildapc. Those guys know better than me.

Your graphics card is probably okay. My previous card was a GTX 750, and it worked fine in most cases.

well one way to find out how well it would work is to test it, that only costs a little bit of time. and it would depend on your budget for a new pc. Edit: just remembered back a few years ago I was running a normal DS emulator on a crappy laptop (craptop maybe?) that had a cpu worse than yours but it ran pretty good still so I dont think it would be too much of a stretch that it should work fine for your computer but it could also be on citra's side

Without having a homebrew 3ds, are there any methods of transferring a save file from cartridge to citra or vice versa?

[-] ajshell1 | 2 points | Jun 16 2017 03:57:50

Not that I know of. As far as I know, you'll need to install some type of Homebrew

How good is Citra at running 3DS game emulation?

Would like to play Luigi's Mansion 2.

As with most of emulators, it varies from game to game. I don't see that game listed in the wiki, you'll have to try it yourself (and contribute to the wiki with your findings).

Are you able to upload Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask 3D?

Even if you cant, thanks for this upload. It's brilliant.

I'm new to this so excuse me if this is a no-brainer but if I take these files and put them in a R4 Card, will I be able to play them on my new 2ds?

(Downloading the files atm)
