Is it possible in any way, by use of any extensions/service to receive each and every post made on this subreddit as a email and/or browser notification or anything in those lines?

I use IFTTT.com to monitor for content I'm interested in. e.g.

If new post from search 'title:vikings subreddit:MegaLinks', then send me an email at $email.

hey rural...this is really neat. I didn't know anything about IFTTT. By the way, which "applet" is responsible for sending the email? I keep clicking "more" but do not find one that say it will send me notifications just like you explained above... thanks man!

Once you create the action, click on the "That" link and search for email. You get the option of email per hit, or a daily digest of all the hits for the day. You could also get an SMS message

I don't know about more then one subreddit, but I have more than one IFTTT. I for each subreddit I follow
