I don't even glance at the no of points a request has. If the content that is requested seems interesting to me, I upload it and share it. It's definitely very juvenile to downvote requests in the hopes that their own request will be filled. That's not how this works.

Will the request thread stay in contest mode?Random sorting has made filling request a bit tedious
Edit:It seems you can hide the voting arrows via css.If you can edit stylesheets for a single thread it might be worth checking out

Wouldn't work with greasemonkey/tampermonkey.For people with similar problems,i'm using this for the time being: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/1868-reddit-highlight-newest-comments
