[META] How To Bypass Mega Buggy Link Screen. | Megalinks MegaDB [META] How To Bypass Mega Buggy Link Screen.

If you are having the problem which I am having is when I open a link in my browser and the link opens so you can type your decryption key, there is a bug where you have to log in or some bullshit, Bypassing this is a very easy fix.

This is what it looks like: http://imgur.com/a/6Thk6

Ok so you have to copy the link and paste in a new tab and fix the xxxx and put mega as usual BUT do not click enter.

Now go back to the post and then find out the decryption key and put it at the end of the original MEGA link, if you do that then you will bypass that buggy screen and be taken to the files and you can download them from there as usual.

Make sure that when you copy and paste the link the exclamation mark of the link is there otherwise your link won't work.

Another workaround, as u/RickJ5 mentioned in another thread was

If I remember right what I did was click on forget your password which took me to a different page. Then I clicked on the back button and when it went back the login stuff was gone and it was only asking for the decryption key.

Worked for me :)

Thanks! Worked like a charm. I hope mega fixes this annoyance soon.

Another solution for those using Firefox. Install the extension Nuke Anything Enhanced.

Right-click inside the login dialog and Remove this object. Depending on where you click, you may have to repeat this a few times until all components of the login dialog are gone. Then paste the key as usual.

Solution E is to delete the login element. Here's how:

Right click on the login box, click inspect in Chrome, and inspect Element in Firefox.

There will be a window that takes up part of the screen that has code in it. the code you inspected will be highlighted.

Move your cursor so the whole dialog box is highlighted, and hit delete. If you did this correctly you should be able to insert your key in the box provided.

NOTE: | Megalinks MegaDB NOTE: This is specific to Windows, I'm pretty sure it's the same or similar procedure for Safari and Mac, but don't know because I don't own one.

But thats really complicated and more time consuming compared to what I proposed although you are correct and it does work i'm not trying to undermine your discovery. Thanks for the insight.

It is a bit convoluted, but it's really not that difficult. This is also a real easy way to get past block on websites.

or you could just block those 2 using your ad blocker

EDIT: and still, about the top quarter of the textfield of the "enter decryption key" dialog box is visible. just click on that visible part and press Ctrl + V and press Enter (this is the easiest way)
